Three arrested in Warren County for major drug crimes
The Vicksburg Police Department, along with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, collaborated to arrest three individuals on drug crimes.
An operation that included surveillance on Stellivan Road led to the arrest of James Edward “Blue” Jones, Joell Alexander Forbes and Money Sanders.
Jones was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute. He was denied by Judge Randy Lewis due to already being out on bail in another case.
Sanders, 55, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was given a $400,000 bond and is required to wear an ankle monitor.
Forbes, 24, has been charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute. He was also denied bail due to already being out on bond.
Overall, five ounces of crystal meth was recovered along with three quarters of a pound of marijuana. Five grams of fentanyl with two rifles and a 9 mm handgun were also confiscated.
