VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–Multiple running backs are returning to add more balance to their offenses this season.

Porter’s Chapel Academy’s run game will be secured with senior runner, Tyler Washington, taking the handoffs. Washington racked up 641 rushing yards with eight touchdowns in 2020 as well as being a physical linebacker on defense.

Wide receiver and running back, Trey Hall, will be coming back to help the Warren Central Vikings. Hall was the second lead rusher on the team last season. He will spread his talents wherever they’re needed this season. Teammates Tj Thompson and Darius Carter will showcase their athleticism in the run game as well.

Each of these local athletes have their talent to help control the clock while using their athleticism to pick up major yards for their team. The tradition of good running backs is expected keep going as kickoff for the 2021 season is less than a month away.
