Father and sons in custody for Athens Drive shootings

The Vicksburg Police Department has made three arrests in relation to the two shootings on Athens drive over the weekend, according to Deputy Chief Mike Bryant.

Michael Ross, 39, was taken in for questioning regarding the shootings by investigators. As a result of that investigation and questioning, Ross has been charged with drive-by shooting and directing or causing a youth to commit a felony.  His bond was set at $150,000.

Also in custody are Ross’s two sons, Michael Ross, Jr., 18, and Devon Jaelil Ross, 17.  Michael was charged with drive-by shooting and recieved a $100,000 bond. Devon was charged with drive-by shooting and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.  His bond was set at $140,000.

The Vicksburg Police Department commends investigators for their hard work on this case and for bringing the suspect into custody so quickly.
