Three indicted by Warren County Grand Jury for domestic violence

A Warren County Grand Jury has indicted three for domestic violence.

Indicted are Albert Thomas, 62, Ray Jordan, 41, and Bernard Hodge, 30.

Albert Thomas is accused of feloniously committing an act of domestic violence against his girlfriend, on or about Aug. 15, by “pulling her off the porch, causing injury to her shoulder.” According to court documents, Thomas has two or more previous convictions of domestic violence within 5 years prior to this incident and will be charged with Domestic Violence – 3rd Offense.

Bernard Hodge is accused of feloniously committing an act of domestic violence against his girlfriend on or about May 21. Hodge also has two or more precious convictions of domestic violence within five years prior to this incident and will be charged with Domestic Violence – 4th Offense.

Ray Jordan is being charged with 3 offenses. Aggravated Assault – Domestic Violence and a second count of Aggravated Assault and a third charge of Shooting into a Dwelling House. The charges allege that on or about June 30, Jordan did willfully and feloniously shoot a firearm into a dwelling house or other building usually occupied by persons.

Aggravated domestic violence is a felony punishable by a minimum of two years in prison. If the crime is the defendant’s third or subsequent conviction for aggravated domestic violence within five years, the penalty is a minimum of 10 years in prison and up to 20 years.
