One of three teenage escapees back in custody at Oakley juvenile detention center

The 16-year-old escapee is back in custody and the stolen black Honda Accord has been recovered, reports WLBT. He was taken down by K-9 Ringo in Richland, Mississippi, after he committed an armed robbery.

Original story:

Three young men escaped from the Oakley Youth Development Center (formerly the Oakley Training School) near Raymond, Mississippi, last night.

The teenagers escaped together around 8 p.m. Sunday, according to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department.

Isaiah Rowell, 18, and two unidentified males, aged 15 and 16, escaped the juvenile detention center on foot wearing blue T-shirts, khaki pants and black shoes. Rowell and one of the other escapees are white, and the other is black.

The young men may have stolen a 2016 Honda Accord (license plate HZB 933) around 11 p.m. in Raymond. A small-caliber pistol was in the car when it was stolen.

Reportedly, the three escapees may have been seen in Grenada around 3 a.m. Monday.
