Today is the deadline to register for August primaries

Today is your last chance to register to vote ahead of Mississippi’s August primaries.

Vicksburg and Warren County residents can register at the County Circuit Clerk offices, 1009 Cherry St., Vicksburg. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked today, July 8, 2019.

Remember that if you have moved since the last election, you must file a change of address to keep your registration current.

The state primary elections are August 6, 2019. On the ballot this year are statewide races for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, along with state and local legislators and other office holders. You can find out who will be on your ballot here.
