WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Bennie Thompson is pleased to announce that Mr. Todd Gee was sworn in today as the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Mississippi. This swearing-in comes one year after President Biden’s nomination of Gee.

Mr. Todd Gee comes with a rich history of serving the nation. Since 2018, he has served as the Deputy Chief of the Public Integrity Section of the United States Department of Justice. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney from 2007 to 2015. With a Senate vote of 82-8 backing Gee’s appointment, the Southern District of Mississippi is set to benefit from his considerable experience and unwavering dedication to justice.
