VDN UPDATES
As of 5:10 p.m.: 911 reported a tornado was on 465 between Eagle Lake and 61. Other reports indicate it can be seen from International Paper.
As of 5:12 p.m.: Another report of a tornado on the ground near Redwood, according to NOAA Jackson.
As of 5:15 p.m.: We have reports that the sheriff is deploying units to Eagle Lake and Highway 3.
AS of 6:28 p.m.: The National weather service has issued a Tornado Warning for Yazoo county.

* At 451 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Mansford, or near Tallulah, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Mansford and Omega around 455 PM CDT.
Eagle Bend around 505 PM CDT.
Redwood and Valley Park around 520 PM CDT.
Oak Ridge around 525 PM CDT.

CENTRAL GREENE COUNTY…
At 451 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Union, or 9 miles
northwest of Eutaw, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Damaging tornado.
SOURCE…Weather spotters confirmed tornado.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
