Tractor fire on Funches road quickly extinguished by firefighters

A tractor fire on Funches Road in Warren County was quickly extinguished by Warren County firefighters.

At about 10 a.m., a neighbor reported to the 911 call center that a tractor was on fire at an adjoining property. Numerous units with the Warren County fire service including units from Fisher Ferry and LeTourneau responded to the call. The first unit on the scene reported the tractor fire was not threatening any other structures.

By the time the second unit arrived at the location, all other units were canceled except for engine 602 who was supplying water.

FireBoss Jerry Briggs also responded to the call along with Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies.
