The arch at Acadia Hills has fallen

The arch that covers Acadia Hills has collapsed.

Initial reports are that the collapse stems from an issue last year where they worked on draininage. One of the machines had bumped the arch.

Efforts to coordinate with the city to have the issue resolved did not advance quickly enough before the collapse.

Homeowners in the area are working to clear the debris and the roadway should be clear shortly.
