Traffic stop leads to recovery of stolen weapon

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–Kevin Wilson, 39, of Vicksburg, was arrested following a traffic stop shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Following a traffic stop on Warrenton Road, Wilson was found to be in possession of a Charter Arms .38 special revolver which was reported stolen in 2013. Wilson is also a convicted felon.

Wilson was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was seen before Judge Angela Carpenter on Monday and received a $565,000 bond and was bound to the Warren County Grand Jury.
