Tree falls on cars driving down Oak Ridge; crushing one

Just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, three vehicles, one northbound and two southbound, were damaged when a tree fell them as they were driving on Oak Ridge Road near Boyscout Road.

The southbound vehicle, a 2016 Ford F250, according to Sheriff Martin Pace, “had the passenger compartment crushed by a falling tree. The driver and passenger were both treated by paramedics on the scene but were not were transported.”

The two southbound vehicles, a 2017 Nissan SUV and a 2019 Infiniti SUV both had moderate damage. The driver of the Nissan and the driver and passenger of the Infiniti were uninjured.

A road crew from Warren County cleared the area. Also on scene was Warren County firefighters, including FireBoss Jerry Briggs.
