Turner and Franklin both starred for their AAU team over the weekend
Local Warren County athletes Malik Franklin and Gaylon Turner were named as the player of the game over the weekend for the Core Magic.
Both Franklin and Turner scored 20 points for the team which led to them getting the recognition.
During the school year, Franklin plays for Vicksburg High School and Turner plays for Warren Central.
