Twin County continuing work to restore power to Eagle Lake

As of 8:30am Friday morning, restoration of power was still ongoing in the Eagle Lake community in Northern Warren County.

Tom Price, area supervisor for Twin County, said that crews had to return to their respective shops for fuel and additional materials. Price said, “We have the main three phase line restored, and now we will work on restoring lines that feed off that service. We have power restored to the water plant.”

Price said that crews from other offices were assisting with removing trees and restoring lines. “The further South you get in our system you go, the greater the damage.”

Price said crews are en route back to the area with additional materials and poles and are hoping to have the area completely restored by the end of the day.
