Two 17-Year-Old Girls Shot

Two 17-year-old-girls were shot on Abraham Drive this evening in Warren County.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said, “Just before 6 p.m., Deputies were notified of two gunshot victims who had arrived at River Region’s Emergency Department by private vehicle. This is the very early stages of the investigation, but the information we have right now is that several people were in a verbal altercation in the 100 block of Abraham Drive. An individual pulled a handgun and began firing.”

“Two 17-year-old females were struck. One was a graze wound to the head, the other was shot in the hip area, neither of which appear to be life threatening. Investigators are working now to identify the shooter,” said Pace.

The Sheriff advised that he will update the public when more information is made available and it is appropriate to release that information.
