Two arrested and charged with capital murder in Indianola jewelry store robbery

Two men have been arrested in connection with a jewelry store robbery and murder on Friday in Indianola, WLBT reports.

Jamie Iverson was working by herself on Friday morning when a group of robbers entered the store. At one point during the event, She was shot in the head.

Iverson was rushed to a Jackson hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

According to Police Chief Earnest Gilson, two have been arrested in connection with the event.  Kenterius and Daqarius Wright were both arrested and the brothers are each facing charges of capital murder.

The Indianola police are being assisted by Sunflower County Sheriff’s Office regarding the incident, along with assistance from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshall’s Office.

The two are expected to make an initial court appearance on Thursday.
