Two-car collision at Bowmar and Drummond with injuries

A two-vehicle collision has occurred at Bowmar Avenue and Drummond Street in Vicksburg.

The traffic lights at this intersection are not working.

The accident was reported at around 4:19 p.m. At this time, reports are that four people were injured including the driver of both vehicles, two children, aged 6 and 7, and their mother, the driver of one of the vehicles. The extent of their injuries are not known, but they do not appear to be life threatening.

Please find an alternate route to allow first responders to tend to the victims.

Use caution at this and any intersection where traffic lights are not functioning.
