Former St. Aloysius baseball players Ethan Parmegiani and Kieran Theriot squared up on opposite sides of the field Thursday.

Both athletes hit home runs for their college teams as they battled against each other. Just a year ago, both were star players at St. Aloysius, whose senior season was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Parmegiani went on to play for Holmes Community College and Theriot now plays for Mississippi Delta Community College.

Although both players had a great game, Theriot helped MDCC to an easy 13-5 victory over Holmes CC.

Both now seem to be excelling in baseball at the collegiate level as they continue to fight for victories for their teams.
