Two indicted for October 2022 murder

Two people have been indicted for an October 2022 murder on Blossom Lane.

Cameron Kelly and Marcus Lee, Jr. have been indicted by a Warren County grand jury for murder and burglary of dwelling.

Back in October 2022, it was reported that Kelly and Lee, along with Cameron Jefferson, were all searching for a 16-year-old juvenile at an apartment complex.

“As they left, one of the individuals, Cameron Dion Jefferson, got in the running vehicle and drove off,” said Sheriff Pace. “We don’t believe at that they realized that the 16-year-old was in the car on the back seat.”

As the car sped away, the 16-year-old, also armed according to Sheriff Pace, “shot and killed Cameron Jefferson, who was the driver.”

Kelly and Lee, who were allegedly with Jefferson, are now charged and indicted for his death.
