Oak Grove and Purvis are the two who are switching to a virtual learning atmosphere for at least two weeks, beginning on Monday, with in-person classes to resume on August 16. The other schools with the district are continuing with in-person attendance.
The district has recently revised it’s mask policy to require them indoors, on busses and outside when social distance cannot be maintained. This revision comes as a result of COVID-19 outbreaks across the school system.
Currently, 91 students and nine staff members are quarantined from the Oak Grove community. Positive cases have been recorded in 41 students and six staff.See a typo? Report it here.
