Two local firefighters recognized for their years of service

Two local firefighters were recently recognized for their years of service to the community.

Vicksburg Fire Department Firefighter Houghton Conley was recognized for 20 years of service and Lieutenant John Hogan for his 10 years of service.

The Vicksburg Fire Department took to social media to extend their recognition of the two for their dedication to the community.

“The Vicksburg Fire Department would like to recognize Firefighter Houghton Conley for 20 years of service to the City of Vicksburg! Firefighter Conley was also recognized by Mayor George Flaggs, Jr., Ward 1 Alderman Michael Mayfield, Sr. and Ward 2 Alderman Alex Monsour, Jr. at the July 18, 2022 board meeting for his dedicated service,” VFD stated. “ Lieutenant Hogan was also recognized by Mayor George Flaggs, Jr., Ward 1 Alderman Michael Mayfield, Sr. and Ward 2 Alderman Alex Monsour, Jr. at the July 25, 2022 board meeting for his dedicated service.
