Two men steal more than $20,000 in merchandise from Byram jewelry store

Two men were caught on camera breaking into and robbing a jewelry store in Byram over the weekend. Estimates are more than $20,000 worth of merchandise was stolen. Damages to the store are also extensive.

WLBT reports that two men used hammers to break into the jewelry store, Platinum Jewelers, at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. The thieves can be seen on security footage smashing display cases and loading jewelry into a bag.
