Two people arrested in Mississippi in possession of 32 pounds of marijuana

On May 12, 2023, Pike County Sheriff’s Office along with Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) conducted a joint operation at 1088 Rawls Road.

Agents seized approximately 14,696 grams (32.4 pounds) of Marijuana with an approximate street value of $360,000. Carolyn Ellzey, 57, of Osyka, MS and Johnny Ellzey, 62, of Osyka, MS were arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Conspiracy.
