A week of chaos and violence continued at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman this morning as two prisoners made their escape.

David May, 42, and Dillion Williams, 27, were discovered to be missing around 1:45 a.m., Jan. 4.

May was serving a life sentence for two counts of aggravated assault in Harrison County, and Williams was serving 40 years for aggravated assault and burglary in Marshall County.

Since Sunday, Jan. 29, five inmates have been killed in Mississippi prisons, three of them at Parchman. Numerous other prisoners have been injured in the incidents. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said yesterday that four of the killings may be gang related.

If you have any information on May or Williams whereabouts, please call 662-745-6611.
