Two separate reports of shots fired

Two incidents of shots fired have been reported tonight.

One caller claimed to have heard 20 to 30 shots in the area of Miller’s Tire on Clay Street just before 10 p.m.

Another report was of couple of shots fired in the area of Cherry and Speed streets a few minutes before that.

Several police vehicles responded to the Miller’s Tire call but found no evidence.

It is not uncommon for police to find no evidence of shots fired.
