Two vaccine drives will be hosted in Vicksburg on Saturday

Two vaccine drives will be hosted in Vicksburg on Saturday morning, giving those who have not yet received their shot more of an opportunity to secure their vaccine dose. Each event will be offering first dose, second dose and vaccine booster shots for free to those that need them.
One drive will be held at the old outlet mall, hosted by Warren County Emergency Management, alongside the Mississippi State Department of Health. Vaccines will be administered between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the old Gap location on 4000 Frontage Road.
Those who wish to reserve an appointment can do so by visiting covidvaccine.umc.edu. Appointments are not necessary. However, walk-ins will be based on availability of doses.
Another vaccine drive will be located in the Vicksburg Mall parking lot. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. those seeking the vaccine can find the drive-thru set up in the northeast parking lot.
The drive is hosted by A Group of Concerned Citizens and will offer COVID-19 testing as well. Vaccines at the Mall will be administered by Health Care on the Go, LLC.
