Two Vikings advance to the State Powerlifting Championships

Two Warren Central Powerlifters will advance to the State Powerlifting Championships because of their performance in last week’s North State Powerlifting meet held Saturday in Madison.

Jalen Davenport and Lane Gordon both showed their impressive strength over the weekend as they both were one of the top lifters in their weight class.

Davenport came in second place in the 242-pound weight class at the North State meet and Gordon placed first in the 123 weight class. Now, both players are eligible to go to the Mississippi State meet next month.
