Tyler Carter: VDN Junior High Player of the Week

Tyler Carter led the undefeated Vicksburg Junior High basketball team to victory over crosstown rivals Warren Central in a 60-42 win Monday, Jan. 6.

Carter is the lead scorer for the Gators this year as they have defeated every team they have played. Carter scored 27 points along with 11 rebounds to help seal the deal in Monday’s big game.

Carter is the only junior high player that is dunking on a Vicksburg team, and he has become the main driver of the team due to his athleticism.

Carter will lead the Gators today in their away game against Madison Central starting at 4 p.m.
