Tyson Foods to give away 45,000 pounds of food Friday in Vicksburg
Tyson Foods will be in Vicksburg Friday to give food to those in need.
About 45,000 pounds of fully cooked chicken products will be distributed along with fresh produce, said Cassandra Mobley of the Mississippi Food Network, which is assisting Tyson.
Distribution begins at 9 a.m. Friday and will go until the food is gone.
The location is Halls Ferry Park at 257 Halls Ferry Park Road.
The give away is part of the Tyson Community Matters for Hunger Action initiative.
