ULM football player DJ Travis commits to Alcorn
University of Louisiana Monroe football player DJ Travis has now committed to playing football at Alcorn State University.
Before playing at ULM, the Poplarville native shined at Jones Community College where he led the Bobcats to a 7-3 season in 2019. He appeared in all 10 games at cornerback where he racked up 11 tackles, one interception and three pass break-ups.
Travis has proved over the years to be a great asset to whatever team he was on in both high school and the collegiate level, and he will soon be competing for a starting spot with the Braves.
Travis will now be playing under Head Coach Fred McNair who has helped Alcorn become a championship team over the years.
