Undercover drug investigation results in two arrests Wednesday

Vicksburg police officers arrested two Vicksburg men Wednesday morning on drug and firearm charges.
The arrests were the result of an undercover drug investigation conducted in the area of Cossar Court after complaints of drug activity.
Chancey Gray, 45, has been arrested and charged with one count of sale of methamphetamine and one count of possession of methamphetamine.
Clarence Wooten, 42, of Vicksburg has been arrested and charged with one count of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Wooten had a firearm in his possession that had been reported stolen to the Vicksburg Police Department.
Gray and Wooten are being held without bond until their initial court appearances later this week.
