Update: Four people shot at Jacques’

Four people were shot early Saturday morning at Jacques in downtown Vicksburg.

One person was treated and released on scene. One was transported to Merit Health River Region but was later transferred to UMMC. Two traveled to UMMC by privately operated vehicle.

The extent of the injuries of all four is unknown at this time and two have been detained for questioning. This is an ongoing investigation and further information will be released at a later time.
