Update on Saturday night mayhem in Vicksburg

At around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Vicksburg Daily News reported on a series of events that broke out across town.

Three motorcyclists were involved in an accident heading westbound on Interstate 20, just before the Rolling Fork exit at Highway 61 North.  One of the riders was taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.  The other individuals involved did not sustain injuries requiring treatment.

On 3rd North Street, a home was shot into.  No one was injured in this incident and as of the time of this writing, no arrests have been made.

Similarly, the investigation is ongoing in regards to the reports of shots fired near Crossway Church, where numerous calls reported a woman being chased by two men.  At this time, authorities are not releasing any further information.

Finally, two arrests were made in response to the altercation that took place in the parking lot behind Boston Fish Market.  One of the individuals arrested was a 14-year-old in possession of a firearm.
