Kevon Moore and Titan Moore are charged with capital murder and were denied bond.

The suspects in the shooting death of Moses Ellis have been denied bond.

Vicksburg Police officers arrested Kevon Moore, 19, and Titan Moore, 18, both of Vicksburg, shortly after the shooting, which occurred at the Vicksburg Days Inn Oct. 30. A third suspect, a minor, was also taken into custody at that time.

Moses Ellis died Nov. 7 as a result of a gunshot wound.

Ellis was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson with a gunshot wound to the neck. He died Wednesday, Nov. 7. At that time, the charges against the suspects were upgraded from attempted murder to capital murder, which could result in their executions.

The suspects appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court before Judge Alan Derivaux today, Nov. 9, and he denied them bond.
