USACE Vicksburg District announces Clear Creek recreation closures

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District has closed Sardis Lake’s Clear Creek Campground, including restroom buildings in the day use area, ahead of upcoming waste-water treatment facility maintenance.

The closure is expected to last through March, and the district will provide updates as they become available. Portable restrooms will be placed at the Clear Creek boat ramp until work is completed. Visitors camping at Sardis Lake will still be able to book reservations for campsites at Oak Grove, Pat’s Bluff and Hurricane Landing campgrounds at www.recreation.gov.
