USACE Vicksburg District holds ‘Wear it to Win it’ contest

In an effort to promote life jacket safety, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District is hosting a ‘Wear it to Win it’ contest which will offer a chance to win prizes.
Winners will be picked each week, from May 31 to July 6, and their photo will be shared on social media. Prizes include two free nights of camping, one free day pass to any USACE recreation site and a free annual pass for any USACE recreation site.
Entering the contest is easy. Simply snap a photo of you, a family member or a friend wearing their life jackets (correctly) and email the photo to randall.d.bordelon@usace.army.mil with the subject “Wear It to Win It!”.
Submitted photos may also be shared in upcoming brochures and on various websites, including the USACE’s social media page.
The contest aims to promote boat safety, awareness and education. So, while taking part in the joys of summer, snap a photo for a chance to win more summer fun.
