USACE Vicksburg District recognizes Alvin Hammittee for outstanding service

In a Facebook post on Friday, the Vicksburg District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recognized the Mat Sinking Unit’s shift foreman, Alvin Hammittee for outstanding service.
Hammittee showed leadership and skill while working to fortify the banks of the Mississippi River through the use of innovative tactics and goal setting. The USACE Vicksburg District praised Hammittee for his efficiency, leadership and his dedication to worker safety, welfare and morale.
