USM defeats Ole Miss 10-7 on Sunday

Southern Miss baseball team knocked off in-state rival Ole Miss on Sunday night in a 10-7 victory.

Blake Wehunt got the win for the Golden Eagles, as they gave it their all to take down the Rebels at their house.

Will McGillis and Reed Trimble both hit home runs in the match, which helped USM bring home the win. Trimble also had four RBIs in the victory.

The Golden Eagles will take on Ole Miss again tomorrow, Monday, June 6 at 6 p.m. where the winner will advance to the Super Regional.
