USM will have six televised games in 2023

USM – HATTIESBURG, Miss. — ESPN announced game times and viewing platforms for two Southern Miss football home games as well as four road games this fall.

The Golden Eagles open the 2023 season at M.M. Roberts Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Alcorn State with kickoff set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

The following week, Saturday, Sept. 9, Southern Miss travels to Florida State for a 7:30 p.m. game time against the Seminoles at Doak S. Campbell Stadium on the ACC Network. The Golden Eagles return home on Saturday, Sept. 16 for a 3 p.m. kickoff against Tulane on ESPNU.

The Sun Belt also announced a 6:30 p.m. start for Southern Miss’ road midweek game at South Alabama on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The game will air on ESPN2. The Golden Eagles then travel to Louisiana on Thursday, Nov. 9 for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU.

The Golden Eagles close their non-conference schedule on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Mississippi State with kickoff set for 11 a.m. on ESPN+/SECN+.

The Sun Belt Championship game is slated for Saturday, Dec. 2 on ABC or ESPN at 3 p.m.
