USS Cairo Museum to reopen at reduced capacity beginning Oct. 31

Vicksburg National Military Park’s U.S.S. Cairo Museum will reopen at reduced capacity from 8:30 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. Thursday – Sunday beginning Oct. 31.

Park grounds will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No entry is permitted after 4:40 p.m. The USS Cairo outdoor exhibit is open, as well as the visitor center. Aside from damaged portions, most of the tour road is also open.

Masks are required no matter vaccine status in all NPS buildings, crowded outdoor spaces and enclosed public transportation. More details may be found here.
