Vantrel Reed hit two home runs on Thursday

Vicksburg native Vantrel Reed was selected as the player of the game for Louisiana State University-Shreveport on Thursday.

In the 6-5 win over Central Methodist University, Reed went 3 for 3 at the plate and hit two home runs.

LSUS now has a 6-2 record and they will face RV McPherson College on Sunday.
