Vicksburg native Martin Trey Brown took Luis Palomino five rounds in a Lightweight Bareknuckle Championship Fight on Saturday before coming up short for the win.

Both fighters came out trying to land a perfect punch to end the match early. Things would eventually heat up as Brown threw some left hand jabs and Palomino threw in some overhand rights.

By the fifth and final round neither fighter got off a kill shot on the other, but most of the punches which landed went to Palomino who defended his title for the fourth time in a 49-46 decision.

Many fans went to social media to say that the two time champion, Brown is still their No.1.

Brown hasn’t announced his next fight yet, but VDN will continue to update his success.
