VDN’s Mayoral Democratic Primary Poll numbers are in

On February 26, 2021 we posted a poll and asked our readers who they favored for the Mayoral Democratic Primary. We shared the post to our Facebook page for several days, and closed voting at Midnight on March 6, 2021.
The poll was not meant as an official or scientific means to determine actual lead placement. The intent was for Vicksburg Daily News to get a sense of where the readers stand.
The Mayoral Democratic Primary voting choices were between Shawn Jackson, Willis Thompson, and Troy Kimble.
We received a total of 137 votes that week that shows that readers who took the poll favor Troy Kimble, who received 62% of the votes out of those who voted.
Vicksburg Daily News would like to express again that this was purely un-scientific and un-official polling of our readers. It is not meant to be used as a means to determine the actual ranking of candidates.
