Vehicle collision causes gas leak on Highway 27

At around 4:20 p.m. a vehicle was reported to have struck a propane tank on Highway 27 at the Lifting Lives thrift store.

Reports indicate a white Dodge Dakota extended cab truck left the roadway and struck the propane tank and kept driving south on Highway 27.

Blossman Gas employees were in the area and managed to swiftly arrive and shut the leak down. Culkin firefighters, Entergy and Warren County deputies also responded and shortly arrived on scene.
