Vehicle crash along North Frontage Road causes power outage

A power pole was cracked, causing power lines to fall and create a safety hazard on North Frontage Road.

At 4:40 p.m., first responders were notified to a collision in the 500 block of North Frontage Road. The crash involved a single, black mini-SUV.

Initial reports indicated a vehicle crashed into a pole, causing it to crack. Reports also indicated the power lines were sparking on the roadway.

The vehicle is reported to have been traveling westbound and crossed over the eastbound lane.

The roadway is being shut down for the time for safety until the pole is repaired.
