Live wires trap vehicle after collision on Culkin Road

A vehicle lost control and crashed directly into a utility pole at around 4 p.m. on Thursday. The force of the collision sent live power lines cascading down, trapping the vehicle underneath.

The crash took place on Culkin Road. Josh Childs, a representative from Entergy, promptly arrived at the scene to disconnect the power, allowing first responders safe access to the scene.

The occupants of the vehicle were safely able to exit the vehicle. No injuries have been reported.

Warren County deputies are on the scene directing traffic while work on power restoration is being done.
