A black sedan with Hinds plates was eastbound on I-20 near the Clay Street West exit. According to the driver, another vehicle forced him into the center guardrail.
Fire medic 40 responded to the accident and treated both the driver and the passenger of the vehicle. Neither the driver nor the occupant of the sedan was seriously injured in the accident and both refused transport to a medical facility.
Traffic 1, Bobby Jones, directed the scene and oversaw the safe removal of the vehicle on the Interstate. The Interstate was reduced to one lane for the duration of the treatment of patients and the removal of the vehicle. The interstate was shut down momentarily while Jackson Towing worked to remove the sedan from the guard wires and rail.
