Vehicle hits Starbucks

At about 9:30 p.m. a vehicle ran into the Starbucks on Halls Ferry.

A white Honda Civic was believed to be traveling south on Halls Ferry when it left the roadway, crossed over the northbound lanes, across the sidewalk, down the grassy knoll, across the drive-through lane, over the concrete ledge and onto the patio where it came to rest against the building.

This is believed to be the same vehicle that was reported to be stalled at the intersection of Halls Ferry and Pemberton a few minutes earlier.

The male driver of the vehicle was arrested and is being investigated for a DUI according to a unit on the scene.

No one was injured and damage to the Starbucks was minimal.
