Vehicle overturns after collision on Indiana

A two-vehicle collision on Indiana Avenue at the westbound exit ramp from I-20 sent one person to the hospital.

The collision occurred just before 10:30 a.m. in the northbound lane of Indiana. According to a witness, the two vehicles collided at the exit ramp from westbound I-20 at Indiana. The smaller red vehicle was hit in the side by the larger black sedan, resulting in the red vehicle overturning.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was transported via ambulance to an area hospital.

Traffic was flowing smoothly through the area thanks to first responders with the Vicksburg Police Department safely directing traffic.
