Vehicle runs into Jerry’s Fish Market

A vehicle ran into Jerry’s Fish Market early Saturday morning.

At 2:42 a.m. Vicksburg Police officers were dispatched to Jerry’s Fish Market at 2701 Halls Ferry. A grey Jeep with Texas plates was traveling east on Bowmar and failed to turn or stop. It crossed Halls Ferry and rammed into the side of Jerry’s Fish Market.

Six VPD units were at the scene and a call was made for an ambulance, reporting an unconscious man. That call was soon canceled and the individual was taken into custody and then transported to the VPD.

The Jeep was minimally damaged and was driven away from the scene by individuals who arrived at the scene several minutes after the accident.

Jerry’s Fish Market also suffered minimal damage.

This is the second suspicious accident this week.
